Every time you post a photo, Instagram compresses it. So does WhatsApp, if you send it as a photo. The first thing lost is exactly what you worked hardest on: the fine line, the gradient, the saturation. That's why I ask for the original file.

This is the step that matters. Gallery compresses. Document leaves the file alone.
On iPhone: Browse → Photos. On Android: Files → DCIM.
If you have the original camera file, better still. The bigger the better.
